Prior to the all in most of the anglers had to clear surface ice from their swims. The very hard overnight frost putting a layer of ice on the water and for most only a pole could be used at their cleared swim.Peg 33 drawn by Exeter angler Mike Horne (Als Van Den Eynde) won the day giving him a good winters catch from it. He had a catch totalling 21k 900g . River Ex is fishing poor location of the dace and roach being hard to find |
